I purchased this product because I have super long hair and so does my young daughter. Its always an ordeal to brush out our hair, I found conditioning really helps a lot but I bought this hoping that it would be easier to brush out her tangles without breaking her hair and hurting her tender scalp.
I love the colors of this brush and the shape that is unique. Its used primarily for my 5 year old girl and she loves it. Its small enough for her hands to hold comfortably also.
This brush came with a few of the bristles bent out of shape and so I think maybe the bristles could be a little firmer. Also the bristles are very short and this didn't work well with my thick hair. This is why I gave 4 stars.
My daughters fine long hair really was much easier to brush out with this brush and I would recommend for children's long hair. She didn't cry out or say that it hurt while using this brush and it seemed to work better than other brushes I have used on her hair. Also there wasn't as much hair in the brush after brushing which I really liked.
