Really nice light, must be wired, very cool looking! This is a really cool light, we installed it in the hallway using an existing light fixtures set up. It was really easy to install that way and looks really cool. It doesn't put out as much light as a regular bulb and would be really great as an accent light. The spiral shape is very nice and attracts the eyes. The silver aluminum covering is nice looking also and easy to work with, its light weight also. I cant wait to set it up permanently on a wall in our living room when my husband can run a wire from the light switch. I'm always looking for neat items to make my home feel special and this is definitely a great find!. I purchased this at a discount for reviewing purposes.
