I wasn't sure this was going to work well when I recieved it because the brush bristles have gaps between them. I tried this on my hair after washing, conditioning, then sleeping all night till dry. The brush heated up very quickly to 450 degrees, the digital display let's you see the temp. I tried it on my hair with no product and it want doing much, then I put a little of my argan leave in conditioner on the length of my hair avoiding the roots and it provided the perfect amount of moisture and oils for the heat to do its thing. The hooligan brush worked sooooo much quicker than my straightener ever did and it reached my roots better also because I used it like a brush and flipped my head upside down while brushing also. The brush comes with a heat resistant glove and it works well. I also accidentally touched my skin while brushing with the tips of the bristles and never got burned. I'd highly recommend this product, it works very well and is easier and quicker and reaches more hair than flat irons.. my hair was shiny and silky after use and stayed that way all through the day. I really was pleasantly suprised!
