Exfoliates with minimal shimmer effects. This is a good micro scrub with a little shimmer, although after rinsing and drying off I didn't see any shimmer left on my skin. Then I tried on my face and just blotted with towel and still after rinsing, a small amount of shimmer was left on skin. There's a small amount of oil in it also which moisturizes. The scrub smells good, and it scrubs well if you want a mini micro exfoliation. This is not coarse scrub and feels really nice like fine sand on skin. My skin felt good and soft after use also. I will use product to keep my skin supple and remove dead cells the shimmer is an added benefit.
