The item came very quickly and was packaged well. The molds are black silicone and the round molds stack on top of the square mold for easy storage. They look and feel high quality. On my first attempt at using the product I put green food coloring in first and then filled with tap water. When it's too full it floats the lid a tad and the circles are misshapen when you take them out. Although they would still look pretty cool in a party bowl. After my first attempt I could tell that this is a great idea and the product is of great quality. If I could suggest improvements I'd say there should be a fold over silicone clamp to keep the sides firmly together for round molds, and buttons in between to snap together and keep the form better (as water tends to float things). I'm going to try again and update this review, by mixing the color first, and closely following directions to try and get a better circle shape. Update: so I followed directions and it turned out perfect! Imagine that, lol. This time see pics of blue dye. I rinsed outside with cold water, and then took out of mold, then dropped in my green solution. Another idea, these would be great with red dye to make eyeballs for Halloween. Afterwards I washed and there is no residual of dye on the silicone. The square set came out awesome too, easy to extract from the silicone and I froze some in layers to have rainbow ice cubes. Awesome!!
I had a great time experimenting with these. They are really cool! I'd recommend 100%!
