Also the "flame" really moves and the light flickers when in candle mode. The remote is so handy to have also. It has dimming settings to adjust brightness and they also have a light setting where it doesn't flicker or move it just stays a steady light. Each candle takes 2 AA batteries, that are not included. That worried me at first. But if you only keep these on for special occasions the batteries will last. These truly look and feel like real candles! I love them!
